December 25th 2002 Snowfall

A strong winter storm produced a significant snowfall across parts of Central New York and Northeast Pennsylvania. Below is a graphic showing some storm total snowfall amounts across parts of this area. The amounts plotted on the map are also shown below in a table format. Snowfall amounts are measured in inches.

The National Weather Service at Binghamton, New York has short term warning and forecast responsibility for 17 counties in New York and 7 counties in Pennsylvania. This is shown as a blue border on the graphic. Additional snowfall reports, outside this area, have been added.
