Some Parameters from the Severe Weather Checklist Filled Out Late in the Morning.

  • CAPE = 800 (Weakly Unstable).

  • NCAPE = 0.13 (moderate)

  • CIN = 40 (around 50 J/kg, associated with derechos).

  • LCL height = 1100 m (800-1500 Tornadoes unlikely).

  • Storm relative inflow = 28 kts (mesocyclones possible).

  • Maximum low-level helicity = 320 (right moving supercells with low CAPE).

  • 0-1 km Bulk Shear = 22 kts (greater than 20 kts, enhanced chance of significant tornadoes).

  • 0-3 km Bulk Shear = 32 kts (20-40 kts – bow echoes with greatest threat for damaging wind.

  • 0-6 km Bulk Shear = 45 kts (greater than 40 kts – supercells likely).

  • 500 mb storm relative wind = 18 kts (16-40 kts – Tornadic supercells possible).
