A jet streak was located over southeast Canada at 12 UTC on the 18th. An enhanced southwesterly low-level (850 mb) flow was forecast to be feeding into the right entrance region of the jet over southern Quebec. The low-level jet was resulting in enhanced isentropic lift over Michigan.
