This radar mosaic shows the rain pattern associated with Frances at 06 UTC on the 9th. The heavy rain band has shifted north to western New York, while the "feeder" band is located from eastern Virginia north to central Pennsylvania. The northwest edge of the feeder band appears to be elongated northeast – southwest, in a similar orientation to the main northeast-southwest band located farther to the northwest.
