At 12 UTC on the 25th, low pressure moving up the Saint Lawrence Valley was dragging a strong cold front east across New York and Pennsylvania. At 12 UTC, the front was located from roughly SYR to ELM to AOO. The MSAS analysis on this slide indicates 6 mb pressure rises in 3 hours behind the front in eastern Ohio, with 2 mb falls along the eastern sea-board.
