Speaker Notes:
The synoptic scale conditions were similar to August 12; an east-west stationary front across the area, with a westerly flow aloft. The radar image on this slide shows that the environment on this day was able to support both isolated supercells (over southern NY) and a line of storms (over central Pa). An isolated tornado also occurred on June 17, 2004, with an isolated supercell over Susquehanna County.
