This 24 hour forecast, valid at 18z on the 3rd, indicates a slightly less favorable condition for lake effect snow in Syracuse. The flow has backed slightly, indicating that the band may be shifting north of Syracuse. The inversion base remains high, however the sounding appeared to be drying beneath the inversion. The dendritic snow growth layer also decreased slightly in depth.
