Both models indicated the potential for a significant snowstorm over northeast Pennsylvania and southern New York.
Less QPF was indicated for our northern counties.
The GFS was a little farther south than the Eta with the main synoptic-scale features, and the QPF.
Neither model was forecasting rapid deepening of the mid-level system while it was effecting our area.
Model forecast soundings were indicating a good potential for very high snow to liquid ratios.
