The 30 hour forecast indicated that the 700 mb low would continue to gradually deepen as it tracked across southern Pennsylvania. This was in about the same location, but slightly deeper, than the Eta forecast made 24 hours previously. Note the dry slot indicated over southern Pennsylvania, and the implied deformation zone with higher relative humidities over central New York.
