January 2-3, 2006 and October 25, 2005 were our two "elevation" snowstorms during the winter of 2005-2006.
In both cases, large differences in snowfall were observed over short distances, due to relatively small differences in elevation.
In both cases, snow levels fell during the event, with snow falling for several hours on hill tops while rain was falling in the valleys.
