Overview

  • January 2-3, 2006 and October 25, 2005 were our two "elevation" snowstorms during the winter of 2005-2006.

  • In both cases, large differences in snowfall were observed over short distances, due to relatively small differences in elevation.

  • In both cases, snow levels fell during the event, with snow falling for several hours on hill tops while rain was falling in the valleys.
