On January 2-3, snowfall across the twin tiers of southern New York and northern Pennsylvania ranged from a trace to 2 inches in deeper valleys, with 3 to 6 inches at higher elevations. Note that as much as 8 to 12 inches fell across the highest elevations of the Poconos, and also across the higher elevations of eastern Sullivan and Delaware counties.
