Radar Evolution/Resultant Snowfall

  • Snow showers/squalls intensified over parts of the Finger Lakes/Susquehanna regions late in the day on the 25th; then continued over much the same areas into the early morning of the 26th

    • An additional 3-6" fell during this time frame in the most persistent squalls

  • By around mid-morning on the 26th, LES bands began to weaken in earnest; as lowering inversion, warm advection, and diurnal effects took their toll
