Overview
Heavy lake effect snow fell across central New York from February 2nd through the 12th.
10 day total snowfall amounts ranged as high as 60 to 100 inches across northwest Oneida county.
The snow was primarily north of Oneida county before February 5th.
From the 5th through the 10th bands of heavy snow moved back and forth across Oneida county.
This study will focus on the period from February 5-6, when some of the heaviest snow occurred in Oneida county (amounts during that time exceeded 30 inches across the northwest part of the county).
