Notes:

The model forecast sounding valid over northern Oneida county at 12 UTC on the 6th shows a weakly sheared west-northwest flow. The lower part of the sounding is in the favorable -10 to -20 degree C range for dendritic snow crystal growth. The model was simulating the snow band over northern Oneida county at this time. (Observations confirmed this location).
