Observations
Notes:
Observations from the area indicated that a steady light snow developed over northeast Pa, including the Wilkes-Barre / Scranton during the morning on the 18th. The snow became moderate to heavy at times by late afternoon afternoon. Temperatures in the Wyoming and Lackawanna Valleys were near to just above freeze, which did not allow for significant accumulations until sunset. However, temperatures were in the upper 20s in the Poconos, allowing for several inches of accumulations during the daylight hours.
