Notes:

A radar loop from the evening on May 23rd indicated that an isolated supercell developed across southern New York. The storm exhibited strong rotation, however it’s location north of the surface front resulted in the rotation remaining “elevated”; ie large hail was observed, but no tornadoes or damaging winds.
