Notes:
Forecast soundings at Syracuse were moist through a deep layer, with persistent flow from around 300 degrees for over 48 hours. Lapse rates ranged from 6 to 7 degrees C per km from the surface through 800 mb, decreasing to near isothermal above 800 mb. The moist layer extended well up into the layer of isothermal lapse rates through the 7th.|
