Forecast soundings at SYR - December 6-7
Notes:
The deep moisture layer on the 6th and 7th can also be seen on these forecast soundings at Syracuse. Steep lapse rates are evident from the surface through 800 mb, with a nearly isothermal layer from 800 mb to around 600 mb. The flow direction was very persistent from 290 to 305 degrees through the period. 850 mb temperatures ranged from -12 to 15 degrees C.|
