Brief overview
- This storm was the 1st of two major snow storms to effect portions of our forecast area during the last week of February, 2010.
- Heavy snow in our area with this event was confined to extreme northeast Pennsylvania and the southwestern Catskills.
- The period of heaviest snow in our area was from around 21z on the 23rd to 06z on the 24th.
- The storm also produced heavy snow farther northeast, from the mid-Hudson Valley through portions of New England.
