A closer look at reflectivity indicates that two cells were in close proximity around the time of tornadogenesis. Merging outflow boundaries would be possible in this scenario, but could not be seen in this data. The northern cell displayed a hook echo at around the time of tornado touchdown near the New York – Pennsylvania border at 0042z.|
