Normalized rotation trends

GR2 analyst-calculated normalized rotation trends from the Binghamton WSR-88D indicated that the rotation developed quickly, and simultaneously at 0.5, 0.9 and 1.4 degrees, just prior to tornado touchdown. The strongest rotation was observed just a few minutes prior to tornado touchdown.
