03z SREF anomalies valid at 09z
Notes:
A 3-4 standard deviation above normal 250 mb jet streak was lifting north across the eastern Great Lakes at 09z. Central New York and northeast Pennsylvania were in the right entrance of the jet. The data on this slide also shows that the 500 mb trough over the Great Lakes was associated with heights of 2-3 standard deviations below normal.Click on image to toggle between images.
