Sea-level pressure and 850 mb temperatures, March 7, 00z-12z
Notes:
The surface low pressure system tracked from southeast Virginia northeast to Rhode Island. Deepening of the surface low was gradual during this time, down to 1002 mb over Rhode Island at 12z on the 7th. The 850 mb zero degree C line was pulled southeast toward the surface low, starting along a line from GFL to IPT at 00z on the 7th, then moving toward the coast.
