12z PIT and BUF soundings
Notes:
The 12z May 26 Pittsburgh sounding featured lots of dry air, especially above 600 mb. A very shallow, elevated mixed layer can be seen on the sounding between 850 and 750 mb, capped by the very dry air aloft. By contrast, the Buffalo sounding was more moist and slightly more unstable.Click on image to toggle between images.
