Radar 0000z May 27

Notes:

By 00z on the 27th, storms had been going for several hours. Some severe weather had already occurred, but it was generally isolated in nature. A clear signal for strong winds, at least aloft, can be seen on the images on this slide. A line of storms was forming across northern Pennsylvania, associated with a surge of very strong (around 80 kt) inbound velocities. Wind damage began at the surface around this time in northern Pennsylvania.
