SPC 850-700 mb frontogenesis and 300 mb wind and divergence
Notes:
SPC analyses at 00z on the 8th indicated 850-700 mb frontogenesis over upstate NY and a 300 mb jet centered over Quebec. This pattern would set the stage for enhanced southerly low-level flow along the mid-Atlantic coast as air parcels would be drawn into the thermally direct circulation associated with the low-to-mid level front and upper-level jet.
