Tropical cyclone Lee and Katia tracks
Notes:
Two tropical cyclones were near the eastern U.S. around the time of this event. Tropical storm Lee tracked north from the Gulf of Mexico to Louisiana on the 4th. Lee weakened to below tropical storm limits after the 4th, but continued moving north toward the Ohio Valley. Meanwhile, hurricane Katia tracked northeast from the Carribbean toward North Carolina, before re-curving north after the 8th.
