Notes:
By 00z on the 8th, mid-upper level patterns and anomalies indicated a south-north oriented upper jet along the crest of the Appalachian mountains, a 500 mb trough over the Tennessee valley and an anomalously strong, southerly 850 mb flow along the mid-Atlantic coast.|
