Rotation vs. time - Sullivan / Bradford county tornado

Notes:

The data on the next several slides show time series of 0.5 degree rotational velocity, indicated by the KBGM WSR-88D radar, taken across a distance of 0.5 nm, for 10 volume scans up to the time of tornado touchdown. The first slide indicates strong rotation associated with a supercell storm for several scans prior to touchdown over northern Sullivan county. The rotation appeared to increase slightly just prior to touchdown.
