• The heavy snow event on November 26, 2014 was associated with a quasi-stationary band of heavy snow associated with enhanced snow to liquid ratios.
• NAM/GFS model forecasts indicated a westward and wetter trend for the last couple of days prior to the storm.The ECWMF and SREF model QPFs were more accurate and consistent.
