Severe reports with this system indicated spotty wind damage across the southern tier of New York from Steuben county east to western Delaware county. Two EF1 tornado touchdowns were confirmed; one tornado tracked for 6 miles across a rural area east of Elmira, while the second tornado was just on the ground for about 200 yards west of Afton.
