Summary

  • Significant flash flooding occurred in eastern Bradford county, Pa on the evening of July 26th, 2015.
  • This event was associated with weak large-scale forcing, weak wind fields and moderate instability.
  • Heavy rain fell in two waves. The first wave was associated with large drops (large ZDR). ZDR and drop size decreased during the second wave indicating a more tropical rainfall-type scenario.
