850 mb heights temperatures and wind
Notes:
Cold advection at 850 mb lowered temperatures over Lake Ontario down to between -18 and -20 degrees C by early morning on the 13th. Lake water temperatures at this time were around +4 C (not shown). The flow at 850 mb shifted from southwest during the evening on the 12th to west-northwest by 12 UTC on the 13th.
