00z HRRR, NAMX and NAM reflectivity at 12z (1 km on top, composite below)
Notes:
At 12z the HRRR continued to show less precipitation reaching to the north across upstate NY than the NAM and NAMX. Some banded features can be seen on the HRRR and NAM over southern New Jersey and near Long Island. Any banding farther north is more subtle. Note that bands of very heavy snowfall had already reached the southern tier of NY at this time.
