These are the severe weather reports received during the early morning hours of July 15, 1995. Despite the fact that the damage reports indicated in this diagram are probably under-represented across the Adirondacks (some counties were probably logged as a single report of widespread damage across the entire county), this one event (a derecho of even larger scale and scope than the Labor Day 1995 event) resulted in more late night/early morning damage reports across central and eastern New York than the sum total of the previous 45 years.
