Radar rainfall estimates through 00 UTC on the 31st indicated large areas of greater than 4 inches of rainfall across central New York, with some isolated 6 to 7 inch amounts. Note a small area of heavy rain also developing southeast of the radar, where additional flash flooding was observed later that night.
