By 01z, the SPC analysis indicates that low-level CAPE continued to increase south of the warm front, to above 100 J/kg over the southern tier of NY. However, the area near the warm front, where the surface vorticity was being maximized, was characterized again by low-level CAPES from 25 to 75 J/kg.
