RUC 0-hr analyses of 250 mb heights (green contours), wind speeds (shaded), and divergence (white contours). Tan wind barbs represent RUC 0-hr 850 mb winds. All analyses are for 06z, 9/18/04. Pronounced upper-level divergence remains within the right-entrance region of the strong jet maximum over Quebec, while the low-level jet continued to pump deep-layered moisture into this same area from the south and southeast.
