This slide shows 22/00 UTC Eta forecasts of 850-700 mb frontogenesis (black contours), 600-500 mb relative humidity (green contours) and 600-500 mb EPV (negative values shaded blue). Negative EPV at the southern edge of the frontogenesis in a near saturated area (relative humidity greater than 80 percent) indicated a potential for slantwise convection over extreme northeast Pennsylvania and southern NY.
