  • A long duration event resulted to 12 to 24 inches of snow from the 2nd through the 3rd.

  • Flow was persistent from a 300 to 310 degree vector.

  • Inversion heights were low through the event - between 850 and 900 mb.

  • Deep synoptic scale moisture was co-located with a deep dendritic snow growth zone.

  • Snow rates maximized on the 3rd when a band of upward vertical motion moved across the area.
