Notes:
Inputs to the WFO BGM severe weather checklist reflected the high CAPE strong shear environment. The list of historical “events most similar” at the top of the display was determined by an algorithm to be most similar to this event, based on local sounding parameters. The most similar event (7/27/2005) based on the parameters was associated with many reports of damaging winds, but no tornadoes.
