  • Deep tropical moisture was pulled north into a strong frontal circulation on September 30 – October 1, 2010, resulting in very heavy rain across central New York and northeast Pennsylvania.
  • Flooding and flash flooding was widespread across the central and eastern portion of the county warning area.
  • Mainstem rivers mainly stayed below flood stage, but some flooding occurred at headwater points.
