Radar reflectivity and storm relative motion - 2334z

Notes:

The data on this slide shows the reflectivity pattern associated with the first bow echo west of Elmira on the left, and the associated storm relative velocity on the right. The bow echo pattern is very pronounced in the reflectivity pattern near the New York / Pennsylvania border. Meanwhile, a moderately strong rotational couplet can be seen to the north of the bow echo. A tornado would develop with this couplet near Campbell, New York.
