This 3-D view of normalized rotation, as calculated by the GR2 analyst, indicated that the rotation strengthened through a deep layer prior to tornado touchdown in Steuben county. There was no indication of a classic scenario where rotation developed at mid-levels, then spun down to the surface.Click on image to toggle through the 3 images.
