Notes:
The WSR-88D radar dual polarization correlation coefficient (CC) product was useful for determining the rain/snow line late on the 9th. On this slide, low values of CC indicated a mix of precipitation near Binghamton and over far northeast Pennsylvania. Meanwhile, higher values indicating a more homogeneous precipitation type can be seen east of Binghamton, where precipitation was falling in the form of snow.
