Notes:

This visible satellite imagery from mid-morning on the 13th, during the heaviest snow at the airport at Syracuse, shows a clear connection between the snow band over Lake Ontario and central New York, upstream with Georgian Bay (Lake Huron). A secondary band appeared to form over western Lake Ontario extending east and merginig with the main band over the central part of the lake.
