SPC observed MLCAPE
Notes:
SPC analysis graphics indicated that MLCAPE values were near 1000 J/kg over central New York and northeast Pennsylvania during the afternoon on the 22nd. These values were much closer to the conservative RAP forecasts as opposed to the much higher NAM forecasts.
