Anomalies - March 14, 18z
Notes:
Anomalies at 18z from the SREF showed 3-4 standard deviation above normal upper jet over southern Quebec. The 500 mb trough was approximately 1 to 2 standard deviations below normal. The 850 mb easterly wind flow over New England exceeded 5 standard deviations above normal, signaling the likelyhood of a rare, historical event.
