This is the 0554Z (1:54 am) BGM radar image overlaid with the 1-hour forecast of accumulated precipitation from 06 to 07Z (2:00 to 3:00 am), and the 07Z surface winds from the Betts-Miller MM5 run. While the accelerating bow echo was coninuing to move a little faster than the MM5 simulation, the model forecast track, and structural details continued to be amazingly accurate.
