At 03z, the sounding at SYR is still indicating very little low-level CAPE. While much of the sounding may be difficult to evaluate due to the fact that the convective parameterization scheme has triggered, the point that little low-level CAPE was available north of the warm front remains valid. CIN for this sounding was 88 J/kg. Mid-level storm relative winds remain impressive. The LCL height for this sounding is less than 200 m.
